Wednesday Wishlist: Beauty Edition

It’s that time of the week again! I’m ready to share a few of my favorites and a few things I’m dying to get my hands on. This week is going to be all about beauty! In the past year (like everyone else on Instagram) I have become obsessed with all things makeup. Contour palettes, highlighter, lip liner- you name it! If you desperately need a beauty haul, keep on scrolling! Click on anything underlined to view the product/page.

My Wishlist:

Wunderbrow Brow Gel

Have you seen this stuff on facebook?! I was mesmerized by the ad. Any makeup that can withstand sleep and water is something I am 100% interested in trying. I have pretty full brows, but I still fill them in a little to make them perfect. The thought of sleeping in them and not having to touch them up for up to three days? Sign me up!

L’Oréal Paris Lash Paradise Mascara

Rumored dupe for Better Than Sex Mascara? Yes please! The packaging is so pretty and so far the reviews have been promising. I will be ordering this in the near future. Pay day where ya at?

Milani Eyeshadow Primer

I have been needing a new primer and read about this one on Pinterest recently. I have the classic UD Primer Potion but it’s so expensive I kind of reserve it for special occasions (yes, I’m cheap). The Ulta brand primer that I’ve been using has a weird texture that makes my eyelids feel coated in Elmer’s glue. I plan on giving this one a try!

Your Wishlist:

Obviously all of the items previously mentioned on my list of Products I Can’t Live Without should be on your Wishlist, but here a few new finds and old favorites you should add to your cart.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark Circle Eraser- Neutralizer

Photo from Ulta.com

Do you suffer from horrendous dark circles and tired, puffy eyes like I do? Don’t even think twice- buy this now. I kept reading about it and hearing about, finally I got some and my oh my. I will never try another dark circle product EVER. The neutralizer shade has a yellow color to it which camouflages the purple undertones in my severe dark circles. I dab it in a triangle shape under my eyes with the attached applicator. (Don’t rub, dab!) Then dot a little bit of my favorite Fit Me Concealer over that. Ah-mazing!

Maybelline Brow Precise Micro Crayon

This brow pencil is great! I love how tiny it is, it makes the most realistic hair-like strokes ever. With my naturally full brows and this pencil, I get perfectly feathered and shaped brows with minimal effort. Not to mention drawing in the little hairs looks so much more natural than caking them with powder (like I used to!).

Colourpop Bumble Lipstick

Photo from colourpop.com

Like most people, I heard about Colourpop everywhere for months. On Pinterest, from my favorite beauty YouTubers- but for some reason I kept putting off trying any of it. So for Christmas I gave my dad a link to their website and a list of about five colors I liked from the site. As usual, my dad never disappoints at Christmas time. He got me three full sized lipsticks and a set of mini’s. Bumble was the color I wanted most and it is definitely my favorite out of all of them because it’s such a unique shade. The staying power is pretty good, the color payoff is intense (I’m talking one swipe and done!), and the range of shades is amazing. One thing I will warn you about, so far the colors I have tried tend to be a lot darker/richer in person than the swatches on the website.

NYX Warm Neutrals Palette

I love this palette so much! It’s the perfect palette to take with you when traveling because of the variety. It’s a drugstore palette, so the pigment isn’t mind-blowing or anything but with primer- perfect! The warm tones compliment my green eyes and the range of colors make any look achievable.

Fit Me Stick Foundation

Maybelline Fit Me, Shine-Free + Balance stick foundation is heaven-sent if you’re lazy like me. I babysit for a living so during the week I usually wear concealer and blush only. This is a quick, easy way to get a little more of a full coverage look in a hurry. I just run it all over my face, sloppily, and blend with my damp Real Techniques sponge. Top with powder and/or blush and I’m out the door.

The Balm Frat Boy Shadow/Blush

Easily the best blush I’ve ever used. Perfect natural pink flush, texture that’s just right, and cute packaging. It’s a bit of a splurge for a usual bargain bin gal like me, but it is so worth it. I’m pale so it’s hard finding a blush that isn’t too dark and I don’t like sparkly blush so this matte shade is exactly what I needed.

Colourpop Supershock Shadow

I have about six shades and they are all incredible. The pigment, the buttery, creamy texture, the zillions of shades- you won’t be disappointed. The metallic and holographic colors are unreal. The shades Muse and White Rabbit are my personal favorites.

I hope you enjoyed this Beauty Edition Wednesday Wishlist! Let me know if you decide to try any of these and comment a few of your favorite beauty products I should try!
